GREEN Friday!

Happy Friday - no it's not st. Patricks day again. I was just inspired by the color green this am.

It all started with my obsession for colored pants (new fad, but i fully suport it!). Which i almost have every color except this color.

SLACKER

SO yes I admit I have been slacking with my blog (Thank you loyal readers for calling me out). But I've been working like crazy and I got to have a little Vaca in NYC! last weekend; It was amazing to say the least.

Its's boarding the less is more; One more even little thing might make it or break it. Not really but when your in a perfectionist head you really think like that. Plant? or no plant? that book angled like that or no angle? Is that stack of books to high? do i need a try? big strips or little stripes? Yes this is my life..hahah

Random stools are a must! They are extremely useful as well as add another visual layer to your space, like functional sculpture. What do you put in a nook or corner, sculture - so why is furniture any different? it's not ;)

And below: if you can't find a great desk light, I like to use a floor lamp. One you don't have to sacrifice any space on top of the desk and two they normally are way cooler looking anyways.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to work but my house (and my roomie's, thanks for putting up with me) Anything goes.

Good Morning from my sofa - my mom gave me that coffee mug don't judge!

Those are just rugs from Urban Outfitters, I just tucked in and laid over the ottoman. It protects our sofa and also gives it some much needed FUNk.

I have to say My neighbors Dog Sarg steals the spot light.

Seafoam & Blue Vibes

So this blog thing is harder to keep up with then i thought. Here are a few of my color obsessions I'm into as of right now. Don't know if it was my new blue pants, lepard top or my seafoam nail polish that brought this on but I'm digin.

Just swoped out the Chevron (although i love, sometimes there is just to much chevron) pillows for some leopard ones; thanks Photoshop and Etsy. It adds some fun and funk :)

What's New? MY J O B

Well a few knew things have been happening in my life. I have been Juggling a lot of work!

I've transitioned from design Assistant to a Designer for Meridith Baer and Associates!!! and Loving It! I mean what designer wouldn't love the opportunity to just do their thing. My other job was amazing too but I get to call the shots in this one ;)

I'm literally 6 houses behind in Inventory lists sooo I'll make this short, here are a few pics of my latest project for Meridith Baer and Associates. If you have an extra 3 mill lying around This beach penthouse is for you! (i wish)

Talk about slacken. I'm a whole year older since last time i posted. Turned the big 25 September 5th. Life hit me in the face, so-ta speak, I've been peddle to the metel this entire month. I was wanting this to happen so bad and it finally did. Work is nuts! in a good way. It has been overwhelming at times, but I'ld say I'm finding my footing, and I'm so blessed!

I've been wanting to thank Family and friend for making My Birthday Amazing. For all the sweet presents but most of all for the family cook out :)

My Boy Brought me this huge thing of sunflowers. My absolute fav.

I put them everywhere in my little apartment.

Andy from Switzerland (awesome neighbor) made me a beautiful, from scratch B-day cake. kicking myself for not taking a pic,but it was mad tasty!

Ohh yes! funny yet so true - a much needed try for my ottoman.

I finally got me tea pot! I first spotted it client shopping with Amber. Carried it around the entire store and put it back, cause i really didn't "need" it. Seriously this little thing just makes me smile.

Neato Planters / Good Vibes

Slight tangent, but why is neato not used anymore? rad and sweet made it through (well at least to me they did)...Neato is a fun word, it would definitely brighten up my day if i heard it more. If you guys have other extinct words I would love to start bringing them back.

My inspiration for this post - Glass Bubbles from West Elm. At first glance I immediately thought clustered like a chandelier in my living room (I'll post a pic when I finally do it). I mean they pretty much would look cool anywhere... Over a tub, in a sun room, corner of a kitchen, office....seriously anywhere. They were designed by Shane Powers for West Elm specifically for air plants; which I found out are super easy to take care of. Check out the video below! and the other sweet vases he designed.

Pattern, COLOR... Yogurtland?

There is nothing in this world that excites me more than thrift store bargans, Yogurtland, color and bomb-ass Patterns! Leah Duncan has some of the freshest, most in style fabrics I've seen in a while. I would definitely love every single one of these on my sofa.
