Amber Adventures- Little Morocco

Sooo I haven't posted in a while.. i know.  I went from nothing to everything all at once - typical life right... 0-60.  I'm that type that weirdly loves it though. Mental?  slightly, but i think that comes with the gig. I have to try and somehow describe this amazing Women, Mom, Designer extraordinaire. She's the shit - Mrs. Amber Lewis! I'm not sure how to "appropriately" describe this crazy-fun-super chic-all-star of a design but i do enjoy working with/for her. You have to check out her and her blog, believe me it's a must -  Amber Interiors  (click it already!) Here is a few pics from our adventures and some fab finds I dig =  wish i had in my place / may have drooled on myself.

holy bed!

yes please - coffee table

I would use this anywhere! Freakin amazing!!

There is a heaven...

I can see these over door ways, as head boards or simply as Art. LOVE!

I've never dreamed of a mirror until now

If you like this then you have to stay tuned to Amber's Blog to see what, where, and how she does what she does with the little helper that helps.

Live Work

I'm in the process of designing and building a desk, so here's a little bit of my inspiration and fun finds. Desks are hard to design (so I give these guys mad props) because why i want it to be beautiful it ultimately has to be functional.

Love this - simple, elegant, and minimal.

Great for small spaces.  It could double as a little eating place in your kitchen or a additional work space to your desk area.  Those of us with tiny apartments ;)

Sick! - I'm diggin

Fun find:  Is there a cup holder for everything now a days. And why do i want one.

ummmm, awesome!

Ok time to get sketching - I'll post (i hope) a sketch of what's in my head soon.

Happy Thoughts! ;)

Loft Fever

So all through out art school and basically any place I've every worked (until now), will not ever let you say you have chosen  a certain anything (furniture or fixtures) just simply because "I like it".  Well people I say I LIKE THIS!!! how can you not. I say "like" away!

If you know me then you already know I'm obsessed with adaptive reuse and Minim Interior Architecture Studio  has my full attention right now with this re-vamped printing press space. Ummm yes please i'll take any place with this type of character.

I'm diggin ;)  a little bit of modern, history and art makes this space super unique. I would call this a Mid-Century Modern Vibe. There are no "styles" to me just vibes.

For Japan

It's hard to fathem what destruction has happened to Japan, let alone how it would feel.  My mind is in awe and heart aches for their loss.

Sending love and tons of prayers Japan.

Functional Art

Picture perfect jewelry. Stop hiding it - it's to pretty

it's purple, sparkles and is draped in gold, what more does a girl want.

Suport your local stores :)

Interior Design is like a beautiful sculpture.  It has to be  interesting from multiple angles yet still flow as one work of art.
