seriously amazing

Separate your space with paper in the most complex way as possible.  Well ToDo is way over my head with designing a paper screen with "code based generative design". I understand the concept but damn, these guys take it to a whole new level. Here is a blerb from their site (click the link above to read the full story):

Deco-Code project is an exploration of the new creative potential resulting from the encounter between digital fabrication tools and code-based generative design strategies, aimed at developing an intelligent system to generate decorative models able to adapt and evolve in a dinamyc and unique way, according to the contest they are meant for. Have fun with comically misspelled offers of love and enthusiastic advice on how to get rich, fast: let our custom generative software weave them all into something very, very different from your grandma's wallpaper.  -ToDo

Not sure if i like the name or the wallpaper better?  Continuing with this bomb design studio ToDo (yeah thats right i said bomb) they finially came up with what to do with spam. Turn it into super cool wallpaper, right thats totally normal - I guarantee you will and have never seen anything like it.  I am obviously a huge fan.

Talk about a beautiful mix of new and old this is the Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona. Let me nerd out on you for a sec -  The original neo-classical structure was built from 1844-1848 (yeah nuts!) and the contemporary add/remodel of the canopy was added in 1997-2005 by architects Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue (EMTB) .  The 67 different colors of the mosaics are suppose to represent the colorful produce and fruit stalls that make up the market place.  Seriously gorgeous! This is definitely on my must see list
