I just about own every bright color pant/legging you can possibly think of. Ha! So why not take it into your interiors.
I love bold colors (obviously) but sometimes they can be a bit to overwhelming and I admit, kinda scary to paint entire walls or rooms - so still go for it! just maybe in a smaller more inventive way i like to think of it as color blocking your space.
Nothing to crazy just some solid colors, simple accents and clean lines.
Lines, splines... go for some shapes! different plans! and a monochrom pallet
paint a funky focal wall
Or accent/ mimic architectural features
Exteriors too
this is a pretty Literal color blocking..hahahah but still rad.
These came up in my search and I just couldn't resist.
I wish these weren't made of paper, so I could wear them!
where were we...
COLOR!!
It's the same as an outfit, you just layer, with pops of solid colors, and throw on some accent of anything you love - silver, gold, sparkle whatever your into.
Hotness!
Here is a great example, complementary colors: blue and orange with an accent of silver
or this BEAUTY - so bright so happy! lets use this as an inspiration
I used a mustard, brick, coral and hot pink for a punch. My accent is natural wood. Then I contrasted that with a steel coffee table. I have to say I am a sucker for contrast and mid century boho. Simple easy no clutter ;)
And there you have it color blocking in interiors :)
